EVR TNT Truck Series Race #6 @ Atlanta
The EVR TNT Truck Series Invaded Atlanta Motor Speedway Tuesday Night with Another large & tallented field of drivers. Congrats to Two Loose on Capturing his first win Congrats on a great run. Also congrats to our Pole Sitter (DWI) USMC along with his son EVR_11 on the outside Pole.
The Pole Sitter in the #127 (DWI) USMC leads the field to the green flag and we are off and racing. USMC leads the first 8 laps untill the #7 of EVR_Z gets loose outta turn 4 & slids thru the infield grass, Z gets controll of his truck but finds traction with dirty tires not a good match as he pulls back on to the asphalt surface to find the #18 of Axin Jaxin plow into his Toyota & causing major damage to both trucks.
And bringing out the yellow, after a the track crew cleans up the race surface. USMC leads the field to the restart on lap 13, with EVR_11 2nd, EVR_Amos 3rd, Two Loose 4th, & EVR_RUSH in 5th.
Our Pole Sitter USMC continues to lead untill lap 23 when the #11 of EVR_11 outta turn 4 slides up the track & brushes the wall also with the #420 of EVR_BoNg spinning thru the grass. EVR_11 finds the #2 of EVR_KR plowing him in the tailgate and sends both drivers spinning down the front stretch, once again the yellow comes out. Our new race leader Amos leads the field down pitroad as they make stops for tires & fuel, we find the #9 of lenstr9 in the lead, after a short track cleanup, lenstr9 leads to field to the restart on lap 27, Boogity, Boogity, Boogity. However it only takes Amos a half a lap to regain the race lead, with USMC 2nd, Two Loose 3rd, Str8shots 4th, & BoNg in 5th.
Amos will lead untill lap 33, the #2 of KR taps the #18 of Axin, causing him to spin and back his truck into the turn 4 wall. This brings out the yellow one more time.
Track crew is busy again but get the surface clean for us to go racing. Amos leads the field to the restart on lap38, with USMC 2nd, Two Loose 3rd, BoNg 4th, & Str8shots rounding out the top 5. Amos leads the race once again untill lap 48, when the #20 of Buckeye is low for position on the #15 of EVR_JBR make contact in turn 1 bringing out a yellow once again. Poor track crew is getting a workout tonight... ;D Amos leads the field down pitroad as USMC and a few others stay out on the track. USMC leads the field to the green on lap 53 with EVR_11 2nd, lenstr9 3rd, MSF 4th, & Amos in 5th.
On lap 54 EVR_11 takes over the lead, with Two Loose hot on his bumper, outta turn 4 on lap 58 the #23 of EVR_Cas, he slids up the track and makes contact with the #008 of Str8shots, and we have another yellow flag. EVR_11 hits pitroad with a host of other trucks, giving the lead to Two Loose, with Amos 2nd, BoNg 3rd, Buckeye 4th, & RUSH in 5th.
The green flag drops once again on lap 62 as Two Loose, Amos, & BoNg breakout to a large lead. Amos & BoNg on the leaders bumper run 1,2,3. But BoNg makes a pass on Amos for 2nd on lap 68, then 3 laps later BoNg makes a power pass on the high side to take over the lead from Two Loose. Amos gets around Two Loose for 2nd, with Two Loose 3rd, Buckeye 4th, & RUSH in 5th. BoNg leads untill lap 74 when KR slids high in turn 4, over corrects his Dodge and clips the #18 of Axin, causing one heck of a wreck with KR fliping his machine several times down the front stretch, then finding both trucks resting in the infield grass. The yellow comes out as the medical crew races to help out both drivers. Axin was able to drive away. But they had to remove KR from his mangled Dodge, where he was transported to a nearby Hospital for minor treatment and over night observation. However I did speak to KR this morning he is ok and will be back in a new truck next week at Pheonix. After a slow track cleanup. EVR_11 leads the field to the green on lap 79, as fast as we went green in turn 4 the #71 of MSF & BoNg make contact causing the big wreck that collected 8 trucks in all, caution flys again. Mind you the track crew had a big mess to clean up this time, all those drivers hit pit road for repairs. Now time for the restart with EVR_11 leading the way we are off and racing, with lenstr9 2nd, Amos 3rd, Two Loose 4th, & USMC in 5th.
Amos, Two Loose, & USMC pass the #9 quickly as well as passing the #11 fast also. Amos back out front with Two Loose 2nd, USMC 3rd, EVR_11 4th, & EVR_D_Waller in 5th. Amos holds the lead untill lap 101 when he pushes high, Two Loose slips by on the low side Amos 2nd, USMC 3rd, Buckeye 4th, & Waller in 5th.
Two Loose still leading the way with Amos on his bumper find a great battle behind them for 3rd, 4th, & 5th place, between USMC, Waller, & Buckeye. Untill a slight bobble in turn 4 by USMC & Waller. With Waller going thru the infield grass but keeping controll of his Chevy, Buckeye slips by for 3rd place.
Two Lose & Amos are still having a great run up in the top 2 spots. Amos makes a last lap pass in turn 3 trying to win 2 in a row, but pushes a little in turn 4 and Two Loose takes advantage and makes the pass for the lead. Buckeye nips Amos at the Checkers for 2nd, with Amos 3rd, Waller slips past USMC in turn 4 for 4th, with USMC in 5th.
Two Loose takes the Checkers for his First Win in the EVR TNT Truck Series. Great win for you Loose. And what a finish by the top 5 for a classic clean battle for position. Sorry for the bad luck of the others who got caught up in the big wreck or else there would have been a heck of a finish among the top 10. Thanks to all who showed up for this event and hope to see you all at Pheonix next Tuesday. Great Racing to All.
Great Race To All,
